About Cloudbet: the company and the licence behind it
Behind the brand sits a registered operator with a named regulator, and this page lays out both, plus what the arrangement means when you play from Tanzania.
Operator
The operating company
Cloudbet is operated by Halcyon Super Holdings B.V., a company incorporated in Curaçao under company number 148526, with its registered address at Abraham Mendez Chumaceiro Boulevard 03 in Willemstad and a wholly owned payments subsidiary, Solas Technologies Limited, registered at 25 Voukourestiou Street in Limassol, Cyprus.
The brand has operated since 2013 and built its name as a crypto-first sportsbook and casino. Copy the licence reference if you ever need it for a dispute:

Licence
What the Curaçao licence covers
Halcyon Super Holdings B.V. is licensed by the Curaçao Gaming Authority under licence number OGL/2024/328/0599, issued under the authority's newer direct-licensing regime. The licence obliges the operator to run certified games, keep anti-money-laundering procedures and follow a defined complaints process. It is still an offshore licence, and while real obligations exist on paper, enforcement sits in Curaçao rather than in East Africa, so a serious dispute travels a long administrative road.
From Tanzania
What this means when you play from Tanzania
Tanzanian law books its own licensees through the Gaming Board of Tanzania, and Cloudbet is not one of them; the site serves Tanzanian players from its Curaçao licence instead. Playing there is a choice made under the operator's terms, and those terms put tax reporting on winnings in your hands. Plan for it yourself.
If a disagreement appears, the path is fixed: write to support@cloudbet.com first and give the operator the chance to resolve it. A complaint that stays unresolved can move to CADRE, an independent dispute-resolution service whose final decision binds both sides.
This site
Where this website stands
Cloudbet Tanzania is an independent informational resource about the brand. It opens no accounts, accepts no bets and holds no player funds, and some of its links are affiliate links that lead to the operator or to other third-party sites. Everything published here traces to the operator's own documents or to named independent reviews. No accounts live here.
