Identity verification becomes mandatory once your cumulative deposits reach $2,200. Individual checks run through Sumsub, and the operator can ask for a photo ID, a recent utility bill as proof of address, a copy of the card used, and a selfie holding the document with a visible date.

Funds can be locked while verification is pending, and deposits or withdrawals may be restricted in that window. Passing the check once does not exempt you forever: the operator may request fresh documents at any point. Keep them handy.
